    I got the same response from my senator's aide this morning, that nothing has changed and the case is still pending security checks. I wonder how long we need to wait and if there is anything that can be done.

    I checked with my attoney on this. She said its highly unlikely that cases stuck in security review will get resolved by upgrading to premium processing as these checks are done by an external agency. She said, it still worth trying though..

    Is M.C.A. considered as equivalent to US Masters by NSC or not?

    Hi Sensat, I have a US master's degree, but applied in EB3 category since I used a substitue labor filed in EB3 category. My I-140 is also stuck in security check like few others. I dont think education has anything to do with pending I-140's. My 2 cents.
