Hi Everybody, I got my GC yesterday. I wasn't expecting it, but welcome it for sure :) My EB2 PD was July 2005 and the date of issue on the card is 8/14/07. But I had the impression that EB2 wasn't available in August 2007. That's what I learned from the Visa Bulletin...

My I-140 appeal was approved back in Aug 06.And my I-485 was opened in Feb 07...But my wife's I-485 has not been opened till now... I called them but they issue a service request everytime with no results....What should I do..Went to infopass but the lady said to wait for four weeks...But...

I had a positive experience so I would recommend it. But I think you should evaluate your case thoroughly and talk to some experts (UnitedNations etc) first. If you think the denial (like ability to pay) is based on frivolous grounds, then appeal is a good idea. Just my two cents.

He said it could take 4-8 weeks. But I guess nobody knows for sure. If you come to know something about it, please post here. Sonu

Mine is an EB2 case, California Service Center. PD was 05/2005. I 140 was applied in the end of 08/2005, and I received an RFE on I 140 to provide evidence for "Abillity to Pay" in 11/2005. I 140 got denied in 12/2005 and the appeal was filed in 12/2005 also. Case was transferred to AAO...

gcman9, No the online status still hasn't changed.

The last LUD change on my case happened on 8/12/2006. Nothing after that. And the messages haven't changed since Feb 2006. Good luck with your case.

I guess United Nations explained my case. And United Nations deserves all the credit for approval of my case. The arguments he presented were awesome. And I'm glad that those arguments reached someone who listened a bit. And UnitedNations, thanks a lot for your help. You are the man ...

My I-140 appeal got approved today.Got a call from attorney.Thanks to everyone in this forum.And Good luck to all who have been waiting.

The LUD on my I 140 (EB2) appeal and 290B changed again today. Only the dates changed, the message is still the same. It's been hapenning almost every weekend for the last about a month now. Anyone has an idea what could be going on ? Thanks and good luck Sonu

My LUD has also changed today to 7/22

Did u apply for new I-140 while the old I-140 was in appeal.Can we do that.I heard that they dont touch your new I-140 till the time their is a decision on the old I-140 appeal.

No update. My status message is similar to yours, still says something like "Your application was received here on Feb 16 2006.........." I don't what that current status on EB2 appeals meant. Sonu

I haven't heard anything yet. Torture continues..... The I140 status still says "We received the application.......... it takes 30 to 60 days to process........" Processing dates for EB2 appeals does appear current according to the informaton posted on various sites. But everywhere it says...
