Hi, I got my GC about a year back. How much longer do I wait to apply for citizenship? I thought this was 4 more years but I saw someone claiming that the wait was only 2 years. Is this true? I have spent 8 years in the US before GC. I am orginally from India. Any comments? - thanks

Yeah right! Soon, it will be two years since some of us applied for 140 and NSC I am sure will "concurrently" adjudicate our 140 and 485 two years after RD. Talk about a broken system!!! I cant understand these s***heads.

All, Can state labor be transfered? If say someone's state labor has been approved but fed labor has not, is it possible to then transfer state labor to another state and proceed with the fed labor???? Seems awesome as I could technically get a state labor in alaska and transer to calif before...

Guys, I have a quick question. It is possible to transfer the state labor to a different state???? It seems to defeat the point. I could get a state labor in north dakota / south dakota / alaska and shift to california. This seems to be ridiculous but this IS the bcis. Is this possible????

What the heck is going on with the uscis and eb2s anyway? It looks like they are going in the order of PD for eb2 (regardless of concurrent or not) but in some other arbitrary order for eb3s. What is this screwed up logic?

Is it just me or does it look like the number of concurrent 140 and 485 approvals has gone down in the last 2 weeks. It now looks like more people are getting just 140 approved without corresponding 485 approval. Has the regression started kicking in already?

Folks, Even if you are in early sep 03, please initiate an enquiry. One of my friends got both 140 and 485 apparently after initiating an enquiry. I would suggest any EB2s from Sep 03 to initiate enquiry.

Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know that a colleague of mine has got his 140 and 485 approved. His was a September, 2003 EB3 application. Be patient. I think there is light at the end of the tunnel.
