My collegue got a surprise yesterday in his USPS mailbox. His approval letters !.
His LUD's had changed 3 times recently and last on 07/12 (no change in status, nothing else) and he got approvals in the mailbox directly. Online still old messages ...
I was approved on 07/02/2004. My wife's LUD had changed with mine on 07/02/2004, but she was not approved.
Today i got 2 emails and thought hey here come the approvals for my wife but alas "RFE issued".
I dont know what it is but think it will be for her imm. records. The only thing is...

any idea which form to fill out and give to employer after getting GC ?
Do we do this after stamping or after getting actual GC ?

Just checked online and it says APPROVED and mailed.
Still not got email, spouse still shows old msg of FP1.

Today LUD for my wife (dependent) changed to 07/01/2004.
For me it is same as when changed after 2nd FP 06/25/2004.
I think it is RFE for her for immunization records, but we shall see.
What do you folks think ?

The last updated dates on both our 485 cases (me and wife's) have just now changed (i had checked before 1/2 hour) to 06/24/2004
FP2 was done 06/22/04 (2days back)
Wanted to start this thread and get info as i am in this situation:
We were expecting at the time we filed our 485's and hence did not get immunizations and XRay's during medical, all other tests were done and reported upon.
Is anyone else in same boat or has been in same boat and what...
At last after a lot of frustration was surprised to see 2nd FP notice for both me and my spouse in the mailbox.
FP Notice date = 06/07/2004 (Took 1 week to reach me, also as Friday was holiday)

Can someone please explain to me how approving I 140 and 485 ( filed concurrently and 140 still pending) will reduce the backlogs ?
Each month n Number (40,000 ?) new applications are filed. If they take the above approach we will never see our approvals in this lifetime or will we ?
