    Tax deduction

    Has anyone taken the money they have been spending on immigration out of tax liability? I feel, since the ability to keep working is directly dependent on immigration status, the expenses (H1 fee, EAD fee, Lawyer fee etc) should be 100 % tax deductible. Any thoughts??
