I am a US resident for the past 2 years. I would like to know how to legally transfer money from my Indian bank A/c to my savings a/c here. My indian bank a/c is not an NRI a/c. Do I have to obtain RBI permission? Is there a maximum limit. Any help will be appreciated.

Called Service Center Call the Service center and spoke with a representative and was told that this error will be corrected automatically. I have also written to them, explaining the situation.

There was one LUD change after I replied. I'm planning to call the service center tommorrow and find out the recourse.

color photo copies of passports or any ID is illegal only if it is reproduced in its original dimension, as the RFE suggests, take an enlarged copy (A4 size). I've done this several times at Kinkos.

Looks like you already have a BC issue by the govt. agency, so just get it translated into English and get it notorized from your country. I did the same thing and my attorney seems to be ok with that.
