No Labor after more than 4 years!
Hi, all
My labor application was submitted on 12/18/2001 on EB2/RIR. My company and the lawyer had received the 45-day letter in August 2005 and they replied in the end of September. But until today, there is no further news. I've seen from this forum that...
We should demonstrate somewhere in NYC?
Maybe in front of the DOL building. It's one of the most in-humane things that is happening in this so-called free country. They should not hang people in lines for so long! I hate this country, no joking.
Hi, IND77. could you please provide more information on your job description? That will provide a better picture of what the DOL is approving.
Thanks a lot.
email inqury
Hi, guys:
What happened to the email inquiry system that uses employer phone number or ID or ...?
I tried several times in the past several months to get information about the LC cases filed by my employer, and it seemed that the email address is not valid any more. I'm...
Re: Re: DOL website got updated today
Hey, the Maryland folks got their date to Dec. 2001. It seemed that we didn't make an effective noise as they did. NY is ignored and lagged behind. I'm so sick of this bullshit.
Hi, I talked to the immigration specialist in our company not long ago. According to them, there is no more RIR in NY. Almost all RIR cases are being rejected and converted to regular. The cases keep their original priority dates. Since currently the regular processing time is not very far...
Hi, rohit_bha:
When did your lawyer receive the NOF? Could you please let us know. I'm wondering whether that means NY SESA is now processing past April 2001.
Thanks a lot.
I think this forum should be renamed - "Bad news, you may never get your LC, coming back in one year".
The current name is now, unfortunately, misleading.
The LC processing is delayed out of proportion. I once heard that they received in April 2001 the amount of cases they would normaly receive in a year. But even if so, they've already been on April 2001 for 16-17 months, how come it's going to take them another 0.5 to 1 year?
This IS totally...
Re: I-140
I think this is partly true. however, there are a lot of people swithing to other approaches that do not require a labor certificate. That's a reason that the EB1 I-140s are also slow. And it seems that INS stopped processing I140 for a while in the previous couple of months...
another thought, are those 245(i) cases actually got approved of labor under current economic situation? If so, there are going to be long line in the 140 queue too. It's already taken more than a year now.
It seems that 4/25 and 4/26 took them about 2 months, so basically the rate is a month for a day. But I think the last couple of days should have a lot more volume. It seems that I should give up on making a wild guess on how long it's going to take for the remainder of April 2001.
What they are doing is outrageous and unhumane! Think how many people's life are ruined by this lengthy process. I 100% support of writing a letter to the Senators.
