Are walk-ins on Wednesdays allowed for missed FP appointments in Newark ASC? My wife could not make her scheduled appointment and there is nothing on the notice that says you can walk-in on a Wednesday. My lawyer is of the opinion that it is allowed and so just wondering if anyone has done so...

I filed I-140/I-485 in August '06 (PD current details in signature). Do i have anything to gain by expediting my 140? I can only invoke AC-21 by Feb '07 (and i plan to) and have 2 years left on H1-B. i can do a million other things with that 1 grand!

I got my H1-B visa stamp couple of weeks ago @ toronto. Drove back thru niagara border and was waived thru @ border check after showing my passport and I-797A. Should i have stopped @ d office n gotten a new I-94 or am i covered by I-94 from I-797A?

If PD is current...... does your native country factor into the processing time for employment based I-485? ie is it faster for some countries with low number of immigrants as opposed to others?
