It says Code 3 on mine too and the heading is Fingerprinting. I think it really doesn;t matter since both are same.

Yes, you have to change the SSN its a simple process go to the local office and do it ASAP before it gets reported to the IRS and INS.

Hi, I am still waiting for AP approval, I see everyone getting EAD and AP approval same day but I just got EAD approval and not AP.

You can use those experience letters it shouldn;t be a problem at all.
