I gotta come to the rescue of Dsatish as he was responding to me. I do not think there is anything offensive here, he has been a valuable member in this forum - if you want to see offensive do some search in the forum and you will be surprised how much hatred exist between people of...
DSATISH
If he is Telegu - he must be very weird - because he has been reaping apart the South Indian community wih his postings like INS is delaying processing for applications which smells of sambar etc . etc.
So the alternate personality of patience GC( according to IAMS..B) also got approved - interesting. This must be the first case where BCIS issued two GC's for the same physical person.
$155 is the processing fee for a minor - $310 is for an adult.
For an adult - a 10 year tourist/business VISA would cost $150.
Just letting you know all options.

You are in the jurisdiction of SFO consulate. I have heard they are efficient - I have not had a good experience with NYC consulate.
Yes - the stamp can be put on a passport even if your passport is not valid for less than a year. A valid VISA in an expired passport remains valid. Of course - for an international travel you will have to renew your passport from your native consulate.
The recent published regulations in AC21 does not say that AC21 cases may not be transfereed from one SC to another. So - you should be safe as long as you have a similar job as described in your labor.
This might open up a can of worms. For example - someone may notify BCIS and they may ask questions about why you were not with sponsoring employee or in a similar job.

By law, a LPR is required to file AR-11 within 10 days of moving to a new address. Please keep a copy and send the form in a certified mail.
You can deport a naturalized citizen.
If the green card /citizenship is through fraud - then you may be stripped of the citizenship and deported in case you have dual citizenship. I remember that happened with a Polish(?) citizen who did not declare that he was a Nazi guard at a concentration...
I have a fundamental question. Why this Rapidgm thing keep coming back to this forum? I have not seen comments about any other company as far as I remember. Is there an employee who has a grudge is spreading rumour in different id's?

I might agree to the 'RIGIDITY' to some extent - in my experience it is much easier to move around between different disciplines in the US universities which is not as easy in Indian universities. I know one of my seniors who did a MS in electrical Engineering in India and...

I can not talk about western education system - but I do feel the Amercian Education system below the graduation programs could improve a lot. I would rather have my kids( when ever I have them) educated till the graduate program in an Indian system compared to their American...

I suspect you are holding EAD currently. Once and if you get GC - you will probably talk against EAD holders taking the jobs along with H1B's and once you are a citizen - you would like all the GC's to be revoked I assume.
You have probably forgotten this is an immigration support...
I am not sure what you mean by surrender. If you stay out of the country for long time - your GC will be automatically revoked. If you need to get it back - you will have to go through the entire process once again.
It is highly uncommon to give up GC after one goes through such a long and...
Anamica - did not mean to hurt your feelings - no hard feelings.
Wonderfulboy - thanks for the detailed posting. I still think EAD issued with the sponsoring company x is good enough to work for any other company. I do understand that you are not working for company x with the EAD. Just make...
You can use EAD to work for any company , sponsoring or not , as long as the EAD is valid.
You may take help of AC21 - in case the new job is similar position and salary for your green card. In that case - you would get the GC even if you are not with your sponsoring company as long as BCIS...
I think I saw my name somewhere in that thread - and frankly I am flattered and blushed. I have been around here for around a year now and I can't describe in words what a great job Rajib has done for the immigrant community. Not only we got our immigration knowledges enhanced by sharing - but...
