Sorry to hear that.... Even i thinking RFE for my wife will be related to birth certificate, becuase she had couple of name changes. But mistake i did was, I didnt submit affidavit at the time of filing I-485. In your case, I dont think filing original affidavit will solve the problem...

Yes, we do have one. The problem is it experies on July 2nd week. As my wife is sick, we are planning to take some treatment in India. It will be nice if she could stay until middle of august. Looks like no chance now........man, you get your GC your doomed..........you dont get one...

No, you cant forward the AP via mail. You could use only one AP at a time, the one which is approved at the time of your travel.

Thanks for the link! Since my wife current AP expires on Mid July. It will really help my family to stay longer if we could secure her GC before we leave end of May. I have until May 15th for approval, so that we could get the card before we travel.........as we all know we cant take nothing...

Congrats! Even I am waiting for my spouse approval (more than 3 weeks now). Is this common were they approve the primary and delay the spouse :confused: We cant celebrate...bcos my wife approval is still pending!!
