That looked pathetic really! The real question is do they think when they plead in the comments to immigrate or demand another draw that the DoS will simply agree? Don't they think there is a criteria for each of those two demands?

The higher your case number, the longer time you'll have to wait to have your interview. So if you waited longer, there is a possibility that they will issue the 50,000 green cards before your turn come up, thus they will cut you off. As a rule of thumb, the smaller the case number, the better...

Well you are pretty lucky :) on one hand, if your husband is actually a winner based on the rumored theory, then it will be a win for you too. If there is a re-draw, then your "non-selected" message has no effect since the process will start over again anyway.
