hi, Does change of address to a different state which falls under another asylum jurisdiction affect the EAD renewal? I have an initial EAD based on pending asylum and I am about to change my address and then apply for renewal of EAD. Please any help is deeply appreciated. Thanks!!

Yeah its so frustrating, but what can we do then look at these numbers and hope someday everything would be fine. Why dont they do anything about it. It this continues it is just going to increase their workload :(

Current immigration status- asylum pending And (c) (8) I think it would be the same for both cases who are waiting for interview and decision.

Hey MWDW, like you said my EAD got approved after 43 days since uscis received my application. I am waitig for my card now. I will apply for social security card as well later

Finally after a long time something good happened for me. My EAD card got approved on Nov 12. I got the approval letter today and i applied for it on sep. 30th.

I sent SF office an inquiry by email and they replied back saying that my case is pending due to high volume of applicants. They even mentioned thay my clock is at 197 days until the email was sent. So thankfully i havent missed any mails. But i am going to SF office next week to inquire again.

Your EAD got approved really fast. Congrats on that. My application timeline is similar as yours. EAD application received on sep. 30th, its been 38 days. Hopefull!!

Journalist7- you gave me a scare. I applied on april, sent 2 inquiry letters but didnt get any reply. Its been 6 months. Does this kind of misplacement of letter happen often? I am so worried :(

Same thing happened to me, i have been trying to call them but no luck. Mine is in san francisco office. I havent been able to talk to them even once.

Hey, has anyone inquired abt their application. I mailed them twice but got no response. I tried calling them but the automsg says to mail an inquiry letter and information cannot be given through ph. Please let me know your experiences
