    Does H-1B automatically get cancelled after GC?

    A friend of miine recently got his GC through a family based petition. Prior to that he was on a H-1B visa. Does the H-1B get cancelled automatically? If not, is it as simple as writing a letter to USCIS asking them to cancel the H-1B?

    DO or NBC? - mailing Oath reschedule request?

    My wife got the Oath letter from NBC in Missouri. I called up the 1-800# and they said to mail reschedule request to DO(Irving, Dallas). I don't fully trust what the front line customer service people say. Who do I mail it to? DO(Irving, TX) or NBC(Missouri)?

    Delaying Oath, I knew this would happen

    I had a bad feeling, I knew this was going to happen. My wife talked to an IO who told her that her Oath is scheduled for 7/23. We have a trip planned to Canada that week for a family wedding on 7/24! Obviously, there's no way she can take the oath, get her Passport and travel the same day...

    Cancelling Indian PP after citizenship

    I looked up the CGI-Houston website. All it says is to send the passport in for a cancellation stamp. Is there a form and a fee for it, do I need to send in a copy of my Naturalization certificate; or do I just mail the PP to Houston Consulate with a cover letter?

    Interview on 6/8, lost old passports

    I have my interview on 6/8. The interview letter asks to bring ALL old passports to the interview. Just realized, I lost my old passports. Cant remember if the Indian consulate keeps the old passports at renewal? (by mail) Do the IO's specifically ask for the passports?

    Can you still mail your N-400 application to the lock box address using Express/Priority Mail with a Signature Confirmation? Wasn't sure if you can do that for a P.O.Box address.
