do you ahev to carry canceled indian pp. I did not get SC and the PP is has a seal received OCI on _____ or something like this and there is no date or initials or anything else. I have not received my SC too.

They collected $195 from me and never sent my Surrender Certificate. Do not know what to do now. So they are not even issuing that paper to many of us even after charging the amount.

Thats correct. I paid $195 for that piece of paper and you never know in future what rule they may change. In future if I have to go to renew my OCI, they may again ask for SC. How can they charge for soem service and then do not provide the same?

Oh, this is horrible. I do not feel like commentin on teh way embassy work. if you forget to sign one photo copy page of your passport they will reject the application even if they had original passport with the application. but they can paste the visa on the wrong passport. it is...

All the best. Any one recently received back the OCI and US pp stamped back from the embassy. Embassay received my US pp on 1/24 and still I have not received back. any one in the same time frame.

Or may be post on there website the date of receipt, they are stamping the pp. Hope to listen something next week for sure. I am in the same boat.
