Question VSC_GC, Was your I140 approved for CP and if so do you know if the VSC asked the US consulate to send it back to them for processing? Also, when you say your EAD renewal triggered your I485 approval, could it just have been a coincidence??

Pending final adjudication I am in the \'Pending final adjudication\' stage...my I140 was approved for CP and the file is with the consulate. I dont know if the INS requested it back or what\'s happening with my case!!

question for clostogc closetogc, How did you figure out the reasoning behind the I140 CP delays...your explanation sounds logical but what is it based on?? Did some IIO give you this information?

Replay for VCS_GC I got approved on Dec. 31, and found out after I called VSC and got the AVM...my EAD renewal application was sent out by my lawyer in December \'01 so my case is quite similar to yours...

Approved at last!!!! Good news from the VSC....our application was approved 12/31/00 and now we\'re all set to get the passport stmaped and wait for the plastic card!!!!!

Q for Zambia Zambia, HAve you figured out what (if anything) can be done about getting the file back from the US consulate in whatever country you originate from? Is there anything that can done, except wait?? I called the NVC, and the person said I may want to talk to the consulate...

For people with I140\'s approved for CP but switched to AOS: Has anyone called their consulates and asked them to send their I140 information back to NVC so that INS can proceed with the 485 processing??

My FP date: 4/25/01, and I told the lady who answered my A#...she asked me my name, place of fingerprinting, etc. and then she tells me there is no record of my fingerprint on her system!! Has anyone ever experienced this situation?
