Hello,
I haven't posted here for ages but I have a question regarding past addresses on the G325A form.
I am a US citizen, applying for permanent residency for my wife (a Hungarian citizen; she's been teaching at the University of Toledo, in Ohio on H1B since 2012.)
When filling out her...
Hello,
I haven't posted here for years, but this time I would appreciate some quick help if possible.
I have just become a US citizen. I am applying for a green card for my wife. She is a professor at an Ohio university (on H1B) and we've lived together for a couple years now in the States...
I know my question may sound confusing. Let me explain what I'm asking here.
If a US employer/sponsor files for an H1B and the process is done through consular processing (beneficiary is abroad), is the beneficiary required to appear at the US embassy/consulate for any reason before the visa...

Thanks, but you basically replied to a question that nobody asked :)
You also asked more questions which were either irrelevant or I do not know the answer to.
But no problem, I got the answers to these questions in the B visa section.
Thanks again.
I am posting this here in the B extension section, perhaps I'll get more answers.
Just like my subject says, would a b1/b2 extension of stay in the US hurt the chances of success of any potential future H1B application?

Hi all,
Just like my subject says, would a b1/b2 extension of stay in the US hurt the chances of success of any potential future H1B application?
Situation:
A friend of mine's (from Hungary) duration of stay in the US will expire on January 14th and she's thinking about filing for a 6-month...
:) thank you for the answer. I admit I asked the wrong question.
She definitely intends to go home. She has a job, a house and family (parents, grandparents) at home.
Sorry about the confusion. She is NOT working or volunteering for anybody or any organization in the US. She is doing all that for her Hungarian university and doing that free of charge. This way she will improve her English too, get some experience etc. She is not doing any work for any US...
thanks for the reply.
I always respect your posts and I know you have lots of experience. However, this time I was expecting a little more constructive opinion. I KNOW none of us are CBP officers and cannot foretell how they will decide in a given case. Still, I thought that by giving as much...
I think I know the answer to this, I'm just open to others' opinion too. I apologize, my post is a little lengthy but please bear with me. This is regarding making sure that a 6-month duration of stay is given to the individual described below:
A Hungarian friend of mine is planning a visit to...
Hi,
My girlfriend, who is a citizen of Hungary and has a fresh PhD in pharmaceutics (from Hungary), is trying to relocate to the U.S. We are exploring options, possibly an H1B visa to get her here. We have leads and things are looking good.
My question is, once she files the H1B through...

Thanks for the responses.
Just an update. First of all, it is the London, KY address.
Secondly, I found this on the official CBP.gov website:
"If you departed by a commercial air or sea carrier (airlines or cruise ships), your departure from the U.S. can be independently verified, and it...
Hello, I haven't posted here for quite a while but I have an issue or I should say my girlfriend may have one...
She is a Hungarian citizen. She spent 10 weeks here in Toledo, OH in the summer as a pharmacy PhD exchange student on a J Visa. (By the way, her visa says the two-year home...
