Picture on Naturalization Certificate already peeling off..

Hi everybody, I had a nice chuckle over some comments; they made my day.:D Well anyhow, I ended up calling the 800 number for USCIS, and the person with whom I spoke had no idea what to do since they have no listed rules or guidelines for peeling pictures. And guess what, they don't use any...

Picture on Naturalization Certificate already peeling off..

No glue stick, no lamination; what's a girl to do? Right now, I'm not really in the mood to already make contact with USCIS again. Maybe in a few weeks I feel up to it. I just hope they don't charge a certificate replacement fee. Maybe a few thin strips of duct tape around the picture will do...

Picture on Naturalization Certificate already peeling off..

And I received it less than a month ago. Does anyone know if it would be OK for me to just put a glue stick to it, or do I need to contact USCIS. Thanks!!! Hope everyone has been doing well.:):):)

Disconnect between Passport Agencies and US Postal office passport clerks

CrossHairs, I was sorry to read about the obnoxious treatment you got from that USPS employee. In the future, should you or anyone else reading this run into a problem with a USPS employee, immediately ask for the supervisor. That advice was given to me a long time ago by a friend who is a...

    Laptop at the OATH Ceremony

Sidding, here is what I did to kill some time. I had taken along a Sudoku puzzle book but never got around to working on even one puzzle. The section I was assigned to had plenty of people who were more than willing to talk up a storm with me. It sure made time fly. At one point, I asked them to...

From where was your passport mailed?

Thank you; that's very nice of you. I had posted the oath experience under the "Sacramento Timeline" thread. Looks as though my passport will come from San Francisco; the US Department of State cashed my check today, and it showed San Francisco on it. Have a good one.:):)

From where was your passport mailed?

I have a question for those who went to the post office to apply for a passport. When I went on Saturday, the postal clerk mentioned that all passport applications (at least the ones from Sacramento) will be mailed to Los Angeles to a central passport processing facility. From there, the...

Oath ceremony- any idea how long it takes (typically)

I was in Sacramento, and the whole thing took about 3 1/2 hours including waiting times, oath, voter registration, and Social Security status update.

    US Passport application question

CrossHairs, I used the Wizard to fill out the application for me, but for the life of me, I don't remember if there was a barcode or not. Not much help, am I?:) But I do recall the application looked exactly like the DS-11 you would pick up at the post office. Since I didn't save the PDF file...

    Happy July 4th

I hope everyone had and still has a nice 4th of July. We don't have HBO, so I was not able to watch that special about John Adams. But the History Channel carried a 10 part series about the Revolution which was pretty good, at least the bits and pieces I saw. Good night everyone:)

Hi there, TheWho,..... Here is a copy/paste from what I had posted a few days back. I forgot to mention that I was also asked to read and write a sentence. Very simple stuff; nothing to get worried about. If you have anymore questions, just ask away. I'm just glad to see that the Sacramento...

    Sacramento Timeline

Mr MartinAub, nice to see you are back... Yes, Sacramento seems to be moving pretty fast nowadays. You know on the oath notification letter, they changed something. Where it says: Please report promptly at 7:30Am....well that was changed. They crossed out the 7:30AM, wrote in by hand and...
