Receipt notic was sent to my attorney. What i meant was that the message on-line saying 'on august 4, 2010 document was mailed to the address we have on file.....' was referred to the receipt notice mailed.

you are probably right. They must have mailed either finger print or receipt notice. If that is the case, my status on line should not have reached the last circle i.e card/document production. Instead, it should have been one of the earlier circles in the series.

Looks like there are several of us. My case status on line says that Card Production was ordered on AUgust 4th. I havent received any approval notice or welcome notice in email until today, and there is no green card. My case was at TSC. Please update if you guys learn anything new.

based on recent new provisions, you cannot link your old pending I-485 to newly approved I-140, if you have been working on EAD ( which u received based on old pending I 485) for more than 180 days.

I have a general questions. While looking into I-485 based on EB1-EA, does or can USCIS look again into all the criteria and send RFE or denial saying that applicant did not fulfil EB1_EA criteria to begin with , revoking already approved I -140?

Approved I-140 EB1-EA is indefinite. I 485 can be applied any time.

thats as interesting question. I was under the impression that one should work in area of expertise until GC is approved, after which he/she is free to do whatever. Lets see what others say.

221g said 'administrative processing'. I think this was basically for security clearance, which was issued after 20 days.
