Tips for reply to "general-purpose" RFE at TSC

Thanks ioananv. I owe my greatest thanks to you, since I directly used so much stuff you dug out (still wondering how you did this). I don't come to this board as often as you do (too busy and no wife to watch out for me), finally got a chance to write this up. I submitted my 485 together with...

Tips for reply to "general-purpose" RFE at TSC

Hi, I got a "general purpose" RFE for my self-petitioned premium processed EB-1A I-140 at TSC and the case went through after I replied to it (all my stuff self-prepared; package received by TSC on 04/19 and approved 04/25). I'm writing this up to share some experience which hopefully will be...

Address for response to RFE at TSC

I'm about to send out my response to RFE for my EB-1A efiled to TSC, but I found an inconsistency in the instruction on the address to send my stuff. I'd really appreciate if somebody who has done this can confirm which is the correct addr. Inconsistency: The RFE from USCIS contains a "gold...

Case study: TSC RFE for EB1A

Thanks ioananv. I'm very impressed with the info and analysis you and your husband came up with, and I strongly suggest other people pay attention. I'm a physicist too, you and your husband's work certainly reminds me of the rigorous research expected from well trained scientists. It's a little...

How to make a strong cover letter for EB1A RFE

gc_er, Generally speaking your strategies are good, but I suggest that you read some AAO decisions at http://www.uscis.gov/uscis-ext-templating/uscis/jspoverride/errFrameset.jsp and also the adjudicator's manual available at uscis' website. Then you'll see many of your questions answered...

Case study: TSC RFE for EB1A

Thanks ioananv, I found your information extremely useful. Indeed, in order to write a good petition letter and make a strong case, you first need to know what the adjudicators are looking for (and are instructed to look for). I bet your husband worked really hard to find these things.

EB1-EA1 denied at NSC after RFE

some suggestions I'm very sorry to see such a strong case got turned down at NSC, and as far as I can see this is totally unfair. However, after reading people's response I felt that maybe all of us ignored sth in NSC' letter: "The record shows that he has several favorable cited published...

Case study: TSC RFE for EB1A

Haven't had time to read you people's comments carefully but let me say thanks first. Special thanks to tiptodo who sent me a sample reference letter. ioananv's lengthy comments help a lot too. Also, I should thank you all for reminding me of not being arrogant in writing my response letter...

Case study: TSC RFE for EB1A

Lessons, speculations 1. Want your application to go to TSC instead of NSC? E-file. I learned this on this forum, and it certainly worked in my case. Madgu-gc2005 was worrying whether applications sent to TSC would be re-routed to NSC. I believe this is very unlikely. It is known that NSC has a...

Case study: TSC RFE for EB1A

my plan of replying to the RFE The following is how I plan to respond. I derived these partly by reading other people's posts, especially those of good_y, ioananv, tiptodo, and others, to whom I owe my thanks. I would appreciate greatly any suggestions/comments/thoughts, not to mention a sample...

Case study: TSC RFE for EB1A

Guys, Just like many people here I got a "general purpose" RFE from TSC for my premium processed DIY EB1A. I decide to write this "case study" to share my experience and lessons so other people can prepare their applications better before they submit it, as well as take advantage of any...

EB1 EA Got RFE from TSC

Your list of things you did for your RFE is already tremendously helpful. If you do take the trouble to make a "model letter," would you mind sending me a copy? Or even better, maybe you can find a way to share it with other people working on their RFE on this forum? This way your work will...

EB1 EA Got RFE from TSC

Thanks good_y (in behalf of both Moden and myself) you've always been very responsive and helpful. It seems RFE from TSC might be less harsh but more general than those from NSC and therefore no easier to answer (will post my case later). I think Moden needs to find another criterion to replace...

My EB-1 EA PP after RFE Approved at NSC

Congrats I've seen how hard you worked and you totally deserve it, especially considering the fact that you're in a "non-mainstream" (scientists, engineers) profession. Well done!
