Don't lie, that will make things worse.
Sorry that you're in this situation.
If this is about a situation with your wife and she willingly won't testify against you, can't she somehow persuade the prosecution to drop the case?
I maybe wrong or just confused.
20+ age difference will definately raise a flag, but as said before, if you have a real, bonafide marriage and you can prove that you weren't married to evade immigration laws, then you have nothing to worry about. Just relax, be calm, explain yourself well and you'll be fine. :)
Just be relaxed! You don't have to show up too early. And when you're approved, they might not stamp your passport..mine wasn't stamped.
Good luck blondy!
My husband was approved today in Boston. Conditional Green Card to be mailed in 2 weeks. I avoided this website for last two weeks because checking it everyday was driving us INSANE!

That should get you started...do a lot of research, use the forum, be patient and good luck.
Thanks guys, We wouldn't have had a problem with it. But they wouldnt let us apply for the SSN because of the mistake, that's where we got stuck...oh well. Hopefully it all gets fixed at the interview. :o

Thanks for the encouragement, blondy...but I'm still not sure. I just got off the phone with NBC, they told me that I would have to reapply...? Anybody else have any thoughts or has been through this?
Aaah!
So we got the EAD card in the mail today, but they put the wrong date of birth. And we can't apply for the SSN with the mistake, so we've scheduled an INFOPASS. Will we have to wait again for the new card? :(
ugh, just when we thought things were finally picking up, way to slow...
Yes, that is just the letter they send after they receive your RFE....you should receive next either the EAD or interview letter...whatever they decide to give you first. :p
