Hi, My dad got the second fingerprint notice for his re-entry (I131) permit application this week and the letter says "FBI was unable to process your fingerprint card....." and the scheduled date for his second FP is in Feb. Since he is leaving US next week, can he go this week for his FP?. Thanks

For me it took 1 month+5 days after acknowledgment, and so he may make it just in time. Anyway, ask him to go to NY and get the OCI/visa personally.

$20 DD/cashier cheque for mailing fee (if u had not paid it) + passports(US and India)

She is in INDIA right now, and do you know apprx. how long does she have to wait to get her GC after his citizenship? In the mean time, can she come by Visitor/Tourist visa?

US allows dual citizenship..so, the answer is YES
