Here is my question.
Couple months back i sponsored by relative (who is married to US citizen) through I-864. I understand that i have to let USCIS know about my change of address by filing I-865 with 30days of my move to new address.
My problem now is that my relative is entering USA end...
i am also in the same boat and dont know where to start from? I would love to avoid the attorney fees if possible.
Do i need to apply here in states or do they have to apply in consulate over in home country? I wish there was a getting started guide kind of website or doc.
Any guru willing...
I just back into US for the first time after being a US citizen. While being treated respectfully i was not told "Welcome Home" etc and that is fine.
What bothered me is that i was also selected for "Additional Questioning". Which i was never selected for when i was on F1 visa, H1 visa or GC...
i am in the same situation as OP. My parents have been denied twice, now i ask them to apply for the third time since now i am US citizen. But now after reading your post i have no hopes. Besides they are not interested in standing in long lines for the third time. They also do not want to stay...
Sufian no you do not need visa for your daughter since she has valid Pakistani passport. So when you land in Pakistan, show FIA/immigration guys her Pakistani passport, they will put entry stamp on it and you are all fine. On your way back you show them US passport so that FIA guys know that you...

Dude how could you not even make the copy of certificate let alone loosing everything? I...
Today i took the oath and i am a US citizen. Finally the end of a long journey. I came out of court hall, filed for social security card status change and registered to vote right there.
Ahhhh....No need to carry GC with me all the time and no need for AR-11. Will apply for passport next week...
This is exactly what happened to me and it was the start of my name check experience. It was 18 months after that letter that i heard anything from USCIS.
No she did not ask me to sign the photos. Instead i did see her writing my name on the back of my photos. I found that strange based on my reading here in this forum, but didn't want to ask questions like "why are you writing my name on the back of my photos" or "shouldn't i be signing the back...
Thanks
Yeah thats whats odd. i see her stamp "APPROVED" on the first page of my N400 but no decision indication on N-652. I should have asked! I have already waited 2.5 years, don't mind waiting more. :) Lets see what happens. Will post here with updates.
