Not neccessary I had a rfe in Septemebr and my name check is still pending. The service center will process your applicatino and keep it ready for adjudication once NC is cleared.

RFE May reach attorney The RFE goes to attorney on record. So you will keep waiting for the mail and the mail may have reached attorney. Let us know what the RFE is about. I think you may get it today(5 business day)
