A person I know has ran into this problem for his wife.
Her I-485 (employment based) was denied. Following which they filed a Motion to reopen and reconsider, in the form of application for waiver of grounds of inadmissibility. This was also denied.

A Question - There was a spike of about 10K to 15K (see data below) in monthly I-485 (total) receipts between May 2005 to October-2005 (after EB3 retrogressed last year). Since October Eb2 had also retrogressed and remains so for India/China.
But it seems USCIS is obtaining...

The article is about a Quarter page but I could find no mention of LEGAL IMMIGRATION issues such as RETROGRESSION, backlog, etc. :mad:

Wall Street Journal has an EDITORIAL on immigration (mostly focused on illegal immigration). It has an OP-ED piece by Daniel Henniger - which rights mostly about LEGAL immigration (even uses the word "retrogression").
