If you co-operate then hopefully you will still be eligible to come back under some other status. If not, then you may find yourself with a 5 or 10 year exclusion order.

One of the Citizenship requirements is 'Good Moral Character' for 5 years.
Whether DUI is considered bad moral character is up to the DO. Consult with a local attorney who deals with your DO - he/she will know.

Am I reading this correctly... You are applying for your green card? I'm confused because this is a citizenship thread.
And if you are applying fro your green card, then was your 130 still valid until now...
Is a failure to register for SS considered a permanent bar? Or is it a "Moral Character" problem that would be irrelevant 5 years after the OP turned 26?
I applied under the 3yrs + marriage rule and was asked for evidence of a bona fide relationship (although the interviewer did not look at it).
She's safer to wait until the 5years before she applies, then she will not need to rely on the marriage. If her Green Card has no conditions, then...
Don't forget that we file taxes AFTER the year. Therefore, the tax return we all filed since january was the 2005 taxes. We won't file 2006 taxes until january-april 2007.
If you have any proof that you filed the extension, then take it.
At my interview they told me I had a background check pending, though they specifically told me it was NOT the name check. It cleared the next business day and I got my oath letter less than a week after my interview.
I was told by an immigration officer for my K1 that although minor traffic tickets are not important to the INS, failure to disclose them when asked could result in denial of the visa.
