my son turned 14 this September and now they sent him an invitation to the fingerprinting. Is it standard procedure or does it mean that they are doing something?
Thanks.
Hi.
I'm posting this question for somebody who won the greencard. I know nothing about the process, so please bear with me.
The lady won a greencard when she was out of status in US (overstayed her visa - I assume it was B2). Can she still get the greencard and what has to be done?
Thank you...
I'm almost positive there not gonna be any constructive answer from USCIS, but i placed an inquiry on my case. Do you guys know how long does it take them to repy?
Thanks
It's probably an old question, but new for me. My 140/485 were filed on Nov-2005. (EB2, ROW). FP were done in Feb-2006 and 140 was approved on Mar-2006. Since then - nothing. I am eligible for changing jobs since 140 is approved and 485 is pending for more than 180 days. What would be the right...
Most of you know, but still:
Processing date for i485 - Feb. 2005 (1.5 month change)
i140 (EB2) Jul. 2005 (though they are defenitely approving applications submitted much later)
NC not cleared since Dec-7-05. Should i be worried?
Mine and my wife's name checks are not cleared since the above date. Am i in the group of the 2% of applications that are not cleared immidiately (stats are according to FBI report)?
Should i feel better knowing that BOTH (me & spouse) NCs...
Instead it says that "USCIS will schedule your biometrics appointment"
From other posts i thought that i need to make an appointment....
How did it worked for you?
thanx

Hi
I've tried to search, but search for "filing i-485/i-140" generates so many hits that it's useless. The question is: can i file i140/i485 to the service center that has most recent processing date (Cali) or i have to file based on geographic principles: New York files to Vermont, for...
Hi
I'm about to submit 140/485 and have the following question:
Do i HAVE to use EAD (and pay ~170$/person)?
We both (me and my wife) have valid H1-B visas till the end of 2006, so we both can work without any problem.
Thanks.
It's a simple question, that simple, that i can't find the answer anywhere on uscis site.
We are family of 3, and my perm was recently certified. Now for i-485 medical exam is needed.
Here it goes (the questio):
Who needs to do the medical - me as a principal applicant or whole family...
