    7th Year H1 extention question

    One cannot get 7th year H1 based on spouse's pending LC. So they have to wait till LC cleareance and file for concurrent I-140/I-485 to get EAD.

    Actually It's other way. Your EAD renewal might trigger I-485 approval. Just I wish you had submitted all the required documents for I-485 approval when you applied for EAD renewal. Some documents like recent employment letter, recent pay stub,... might help I-485 approval even though not...
