Don' waste your time with interim EAD.
Although it says USCIS will provide it but they won't.
I took the appointment and went there and I was told that it was no longer issued and all we can do is wait.

If you have already done your interview then the case stays in the place where you were interviewed as they are just waiting on something to give you a decision.

You will receive a mail within a week or two from SFO office and once you have it, give it couple of days then follow up with LA.
Make sure to inquire about your clock.
When you change an address, make sure to update both USCIS HQ and Asylum office.
Also, don't forget to follow up with LA to make sure they received your file as lot of times, the prior AO office forgets\procrastinates to send your file which will result in your clock being stopped and you will...
Nothing you can do but wait for clock to reach 150 days and apply for EAD. Once, its 180 days, you will get your EAD. Check with AO office if they can adjust the clock if its a mistake on their end.
