That is correct. No biometrics , just straight approval and the online status says they ordered a new card.

I paper filed EAD and AP with VSC around Nov 16th . Got AP approved and EAD all in this week. What was weird was that I did not receive biometrics for EAD. My I-485 has been pending for 21 months now and this is my 3rd EAD and AP. I already received the AP in the mail, waiting for EAD. Website...

According to a memo I saw few months before , USCIS will only transfer cases if they think interview will totally resolve the issue....Otherwise they are supposed to issue RFE's or NOIDs or Denials or Approvals...The scenario earlier was instead of an RFE they will transfer cases hence local...

Did you go through VSC ? Also which state was your FP done ??? My FP was done on 3/29 , FP results received 4/11 ...LUD changes on 485 4/18 and 4/19...No approval yet... Thanks for your reponse.

rsaji, Please check with your lawyer...I think I read somewhere in the forum that when you enter US they will stamp your passport with temp stamp/I-551 if you don't have one ..This occurs when your 485 is approved while you were out of the country or did not receive the approval notice...

Congrats rsaji !!!! When did you do your FP in March 2005 ? Also what date did the message change to "FP results received ........" ?

Guys, My LUDs are after I received the message "FP results receive blah blah".......... What you are stating here is LUD updates prior to the FP received message...
