no audit I never went into audit. It has been sitting as "in-process" since the first day. Now, I cannot withdraw it because I need to get the 7th year extension first.

Conversion Case Still Pending Guys, Is there a positive update on the conversion cases? I applied on 9/19/2005 and it still shows "in-process" for Chicago Center.

Still in Process Mine is a conversion case. Applied PERM on 9/19/2005 and still in-process from Chicago.

question Does this mean that we have to re-advertise the whole thing again!!! My original PD is Nov 2004 with Illinois and my PERM was sent out on 9/19/2005. I think it is a very tough call decide whether to withdraw, re-apply or be patient.

also I thought about withdrawing the application also. But I have a good feeling that since when we applied for PERM, it automatically meant that we are withdrawing our application in the BEC. We are only getting the priority date from that application. Now, if we said we want to withdraw...

May be a hope All, I think Drirshad was the guy who tried conversion first. He just posted something where even his I140 got approved. I dont think things are moving that slow. We might not be all that lucky but seems like he successfully converted his case.

Same Boat I am on the same boat as you are. MY RIR PD was November 2004 and I went ahead and filed under PERM to convert my case. I guess I am not as pessimistic. You have three options: 1. Wait for the BEC to approve your case (might take 2 years) 2. Apply Perm and loose your PD (good luck...
