As part of the long list of papers the INS asked me to bring medical exams + immunization forms (I-693) at the interview, unless submitted. We submitted the forms 1 year ago, however I am afraid this will not be the end of the story :-(

Hm, a couple of other people will do interviews this month. We will keep you posted with our experience.
At some point you can contact the local congress woman and ask her staff to inquire at the INS. They are *extremelly* nice.
Good luck!
Interview people, did you take with you any of the INS notices pertaining to H1 approval(s), I140 approval, Labor cert approval?
How about I485, EAD, AP receipts?
Thanks!

Check the INS web site, they have links to pages for each field office. You will find some information there. There is no phone number you can call, as far as I know. You can always go there and stay in line. My lawyer advised me against it, just because it will not help advancing your...

hi,
I am part of the SJ interview club. We are 3 in all and we are all scheduled for interview at the end of November, beginning of December. We had to wait between 3 and 6 months to get the interview notice.

There are at least 2...

Why don\'t you ask your lawyer to send a corrective fax and keep a copy...

I\'ve paid way more than that as my share of the GC. It was agreed up front and anyway in the current work climate I did not want to stand out. I would gladly pay $1k to get my GC now, and that\'s on top of what I\'ve paid so far.
IMO the amount of money is not the real thing to be...

Suposedly there is a form for mail address change on the ins web site. Somebody posted a message on this topic in the last 1-2 months.
In my experience the lawyer gets anyway a duplicate of most of the papers. I\'ve seen posts to confirm that I485 approval receipt goes to the lawyer...

I think that if there is a problem in the mail delivery process the cards are returned to the local office and they are kept there for a year. You may want to pay them a visit.
Good luck!

Congratulations!
Quick questions for you:
- are you doing the processing in CA?
(maybe based on company or CO is served by CSC)
- did you move during the process or started the process in Denver?
- where did you do your finger prints?
Good luck in your new life!

Who knows?
Of course for the approval you need to have your finger prints done. In some parts of CA you can do your FP before the scheduled time and this may shorten the wait.
INS seesm to process various types of files in batches based on the ND/RD. They will process in one such...
