Yep, thats correct because it might take upto 6 months to complete the processing. My employer always files 6 months ahead of time. ;)

I think, it will move to July 1, 2002. Because it was Jun 1, 2002 when it was retrogressed last time. Or it could be Jun 1, 2003. Be optimistic. LOL.

EADs approved My wife and mine EADs receipt dates are Aug 16, 06. We got approval notices on Aug 30. We have pending I-485 with TSC. Our EADs approved from TSC. It is 3rd EAD for me. I dont know why your EADS are pending for more than 2 months.

I believe that does not matter if your PD is not current.

I think there should not be any problems jumping till April 2001. May be 6 months in every month. BUt, once it reaches April 2001, it may jump a month or so every month. This is just a prediction based on lot of labor approvals from Jan to April 2001. What you guys think ?

Mine and my son's passports are new. We han't done anything. We keep sending copies of new pp for the EAD and APs. No problems yet all. Anyways, why do you think that they care about your pp.

You should be able to renew your license as long as the old license is with you. GOod luck with that.

My understanding is that if you have valid H1 and a visa to reenter then you dont need EAD. EAD gives flexibility to work for more than one employer though. However, if you are on EAD, you will have to get AP also to enter US.

They received my EAD application on Dec 16. The check is cashed from my bank on Dec 20. I got approvals on Dec 29. Hope these time lines help you. May be its good idea to check your bank if the check is cashed or not.

After talking to UK consulate in Chicago, I got my UK DAT visa for me and my family in 5 days. We have APs and expired Visas in passports. unless you have unexpired visa stamped in your passport, you need DAT(Direct Air Transit) visa.
