Today I took an Infopass appointment and went to the USCIS office. The officer couldnt tell me when I'd be scheduled for oath ceremony but when I told him that I'd like to have my oath on the same day as my wife, he advised me to write a letter on the spot requesting the same day oath. I did...
We had interview at the same day but with different officer and no, it didn't occur to me to mention this to the officer.
Since we always got all the notifications at the same time I assumed the cases were already linked together.
Wish I knew better!
Got SMS notification for my wife's oath schedule and the mail will arrive shortly I hope but where is mine?
Will they schedule me at a latter day? We both had interview on the same day and passed!!
It was warm morning today and the USCIS office is only 3 blocks away from my home. I and my wife strolled to the distric office at 8.19 AM for our interview. I handed in my interview letter and they called me first at 8.48 AM. I took a folder with my traffic tickets judgement, tax returns and...
Today I received the interview letter. It is scheduled on March 6. Just as I thought, Salt Lake city office is not that fast compared to other offices.
Just 5 minutes ago I received the SMS, case status changed to scheduled for interview and I'll receive the interview date in 1 or 2 weeks.
Salt Lake office is really slow.
Congrats to you Mogalgiddi. You had a smooth sailing and beaten the average timeline of 5 months.
Yesterday I received a YL stating I'd need to bring an ID and my arrest record. I answered yes to the question if I was ever arrested or cited. I got two speeding ticket which i contested and won. Are they asking me to bring the court disposition of those 2 cases? Please advise.
No interview...
Today I was pleasantly surprised to see an e-mail message informing me the status changed to Testing & Interview. Now wait for the actual interview date but I know Salt Lake City is the one of the slowest district office.
I'm a bit disappointed to see that my status didnt change after the FP was done 3 weeks ago. I have a sneaking suspicion that I might need to go the WOM route like I did for green card.
My FP is scheduled for 11/04 but I walked-in today to Salt lake City ASC and they were kind enough to take my biometric. The office was almost empty and everything was done in 20 minutes! Now wait for the interview.........
