Phew... Acknowleged At last My application status shows as Acknowledged. Saved me a trip to Houston. Hope things move faster.

No Acknowlegement yet Hi cifar241, I know that my application reached CGI as I sent it in Certified W/Return Signature confirmation. I got the signature confirmation. It is just bad luck as CGI site doesn't update and let us know if something is missing with our application. :confused:

I went to Houston Regional passport Agency and applied in person since I am traveling next week. They issued me a passport in 5 hours.

I had interview on Feb 7th and my spouse had interview on Feb 20th. As mentioned earlier I got my Oath letter yesterday and my spouse got the Oath letter today. Oath is on May 11@Delco Center, Austin, Texas. Hang on guys y'all should receive the letter by this weekend.

I had my interview during the first week of February 2007. The officer told me the oath will be in March in SA. And also he told if they have decided to have in Austin then I'll be moved to Austin. So I guess my bad luck I need to wait. All my plans to visit my country got royally screwed up...

Correction Guys, We do not sign the Naturalization Certificate. We just write our Full Name in that. It is the same Certificate we will all receive during our Oath Ceremony.
