I know I should mail EAD renewal to VSC, but, can one just walk in to the Philly office and re-new ? anybody done that ? Called VSC today and found out my case was 'staged' only (meaning, it is ready to be assigned to an officer), the officer suggested I renew EAD to be safe... RD:9-17-01...

RD_Sept27, you are wrong ? check out rupnet.com: take ND=11/19/01 for example, you see how EAC numbers differ ? (EAC-02-)009, or 037, or 041, or 042. How do you explain this ?

Makhansing and 180member: why did you have to enclose a copy of Driver's License to get EAD renewal ? is this a new requirement ? but I don't see it is needed in the I765 instructions.. Thanks in advance for your reply.

agree I agree w/ gcFunWaiting. Everything seems fine. But you do need to act on the RFE quickly. If you reply in the 1st week of Sept, you might get approved in late Sept, then you have time to do stamping before Octo22. But if I were you, I would apply EAD right now (or at the latest...

GCfunWaiting: is your new addr in the same state ? congrats !!! my question is: did you change your address within the same state, or out of state but still under VSC jurisdication ? In my case, i changed add from VA to PA, kind of wondering if this might trigger a RFE ?

probably not in local I think we have to renew EAD at the office where we got our originals. But i also heard that you can walk in to a local office and get a 'EAD' right away if you don't get it 90 days after filing for renewals.

remember in another post I told you about my conversation with a IIO on Aug7? a IIO told me then that they were processing cases with RD=Sept15 … kind of feel responsible to find out what is going on, so called again today 11:50am. Hitted 'repeat dial' for 1.5 min, connectted (easy, hum) ...
