Question about travel for an asylee

Hey everybody, I have a quick question.

Can an asylee travel to a bordering country of his home country?

For example, can an Chinese asylee travel to India, Nepal or Vietnam?

Or

A Venezuelan asylee traveling to Colombia or Aruba?

Or

A Honduran asylee traveling to Nicaragua, El Salvador or Guatemala?

Thank you for clarifying this for me.

Quora in various threads here has always been so long you did not travel to your COP ''Country of Oppression directly'' on that travel, and you can prove, and you were not at risk of traveling near COP or travel was emergency, etc. you may be okay. The risk is always to prove to the immigration officer and your case's details that make it easier to have near access to COP in the future. I know derivatives asylees have a different risk compared to principal asylees. Those facing direct threats from their government have a different weight of risk or are you traveling with RTD or COP passport comes with different dynamics etc. [Please talk to your immigration attorney on specifics that match your case for clarity].

As long as you have a RTD and are able to get a visa, the answer is Yes as long as you do not visit your COP or use your passport before getting a GC. Just make sure you have no inadmissibility issues that haven’t been waived.
