F4 Visa retrogression 6 month...

As we were patiently waiting for the interview to be scheduled at this stage, the F4 visa got retrogressed according to Visa Bulletin and now it is not current as we expected (after 13 years of waiting) but is 6 months behind:( Is it normal? Is there a chance it will jump 6 month forward again? Thank you all!
 
Yes, VB retrogression is not unusual. An additional 6 months of waiting is nothing compared to the 13 you’ve already waited. So hang in there.
 
Thank you for your prompt response. I agree. Have you heard of retrogression like this before? Should we worry that there is a chance that family based visas could be cancelled in future? F4 in particular?

Like I stated, in my previous response, this is not unusual.
