L2 EAD (I-765) - Rejection Notice

Hi,

I am on L2 Visa residing in California. Recently applied my EAD (I-765) to USCIS Phoenix Lockbox via UPS to the below address as per USCIS Website:
"USCIS
Attn: NFB AOS
1820 E. Skyharbor Circle S Suite 100
Phoenix, AZ 85034.
Received I-797C Notice type - Rejection Stating "This office does not have jurisdiction to accept the application petition you submitted. Please submit your completed application / petition to the USCIS office or service center with jurisdiction".

As per USCIS Website, the address I've mailed is correct.
For filling fee, i gave my spouse cheque for $410 as i do not have a bank account. Will that be an issue. Can any one advice what is the correction I need to do here? Thanks

Probably you fall under Dallas lockbox jurisdiction. You either file with Phoenix or Dallas lockbox. It depends on where you live, If Phoenix has sent you back mail it to Dallas lockbox address.
