H1 transfer based on previous I 140

Hi,
I have an approved I 140 from employer A. I transferred my H1 to Employer B , but I got validity for only one year instead of 3 years.
Can I transfer my H1 to a new employer using the initial I 140 and get a three year extension
Please suggest.

Even though you were eligible for 3 years H1B extension after I-140 approval It does not necessarily means you will get 3 years of extension. There should be something in your H-1B documents submitted that shows job exists only for 1 year.
