Thanks for the reply sm1smom! No prob, I was more looking for advice around ‘intent to immigrate’ and the obstacles people who’ve applied for both the GC lottery and non-immigrant visa categories may have come up against :-) Perhaps this thread should be moved to the J-Visa forum? My apologies!

Hello all! Long time no 'see'! First of all, I apologise for the nature of this thread, I know there are many out there on the same topic but most of them are fairly old (as far as I could tell) and I was hoping to get some insight from anyone who may have come up against this or has any ideas...

I agree! Perhaps they've finally decided to cut the numbers of selectees so not so many people miss out! I personally think that would be a good thing, and preferable to a 'glitch' in the system:oops: Consolations everyone!!! Sorry none of us has had any luck so far x
