TN Visa: contractor, taxes and traveling

You can come and work in US on TN as an independant contractor. I did this for a long time. My employer will give me a check for the amount (number of hours worked * rate). I had to make quarterly estimated payments in the US. I did not have a rental or an own property in Canada. Therefore, I...

My I-140 got denied as I have 3 year degree and my attorney insisted that we apply in EB2. There was an RFE with regard to my education. We did another evaluation to show that my 3 year degree is equivalent to a 4 year US degree. The denial notice says that originally mine was evaluated for 3...

    PERM case number

There is a lot of chances to expect your PERM to be processed before end of this month. There had been many cases where the PERM was processed under a week at Chicago center.

    PERM case number

It is correct. C is for Chicago and A is for Atlanta. Which state you are from? Based on your state, application will be sent either to Chicago or Atlanta. If you have the number starting with C, you are lucky. They process PERM much faster at Chicago compared to Atlanta.

    H-1B Tax Issue

This is not fine. It is a violation of H1B. You can only work for Company A and get paid only by company A. Legally, they have to give you a 1099. I don't know how you will handle this, if there is a query.

Lawyer theratened to withdraw the approved h1b case

I am not an attorney. But, I am very sure that he cannot revoke your H1B without your employers approval. Meanwhile, why don't you report to the bar association about this lawyer?
