You are compeletly wrong my freind and please do not misguide other people when you don't have correct information, but it's not only you, there are a lot of people who believe service centers process cases based on priority dates as per visa bulletein, which is completely wrong...
TSC 485 (EB) processing date moved up to June 29 2007
I just happened to check the processing dates for EB based 485 at TSC and April 15 2008 has moved up to June 29 2007. I am not sure if I could say it is a good news considering the unpredictability of TSC but soon, probably in a month TSC...
First of all the chances of an interview are very less, secondly even if your GC was filed under future employment after 180 days you can always change your employer with the same kind of job.
Spoke to IO today
Today after an hour and 20 minutes on hold over the phone, I spoke to the best immigration officer ever, he told everything about my case in detail. My FP has cleared and namecheck is pending. It's takes them 60 days to process 485 after name check clearance.

I just happened to check the TSC 485 processing dates and it had changed from Aug'07 to 6 months.

The reason I started this thread is firstly as there is no seperate thread for only July/August 07 - 485 filers and secondly I have been hearing about lot of approvals on the cases from last year (06) therefore I wanted to keep a check on whether TSC is only processing cases from last year as...
There is no need to invoke AC21, you are fine now (after GC approval) and as long as your wife has a valid AP there is nothing to worry about.
Just chill and enjoy the freedom.
