    Yes, approved couple of days ago. Mine too was stuck in Name Check. After congressman inquiry to FBI it got cleared.

    Any idea how long is the one needs to work with the same employer after GC is approved. Can the employer screw up your GC if you leave too soon(how soon is too soon). Anybody heard of such a case at all. Can USCIS revoke your GC in this case. Such a thing happened before?. Your inputs appreciated.

    Suppose if GC is approved when working for the Original employer(who filed LC, I140, I485) i.e AC21 NOT USED, how long does one need to work with the current employer before making a switch to another job safely.     If they are indeed considering Nov 2001 applications then it looks like they don't have many pending applications prior to that and that may translate to EB3-India priority date moving to atleast Jan 2002 in April Visa Bulletin.

    Thanks for the clarification october_gc. How did you learn about your FBI name check clearance. From FBI, Congressman or USCIS?. Do you know how long it took for results to reach USCIS from FBI?.

    Please include Notice Date too Please include I-485 Notice date. So that we know(approximately) how long the name check has been pending. Without this information one cannot really see the trend. My 2 cents.

    I would understand doing security related checks(name, background...whatever) BEFORE they allow people inside this country. Doing it when applying for GC, when the person is already here, looks little odd to me. A person with the intention to harm the country won't apply for GC, wait patiently...

    It's not a "hearing" so you will have to look at a different place. There are "Executive Business Meetings" scheduled on Oct 20 though there is nothing that specifically mentions this. I would assume "budget related stuff would come under "business meetings". I really really hope so.

    Is I-94 issued. When you enter with AP is the I-94 is required to filled up and provided to the immigration officer?. If so what date would they stamp on I-94. Thanks
