It doesn't apply to TN1 because the TN1 is not issued in embassy but at the border. Just resolve your case and in no case get another one. which state are you in?

Thanks Nelsona and newacct. I talked to Service Canada and they said that I am only eligible for UI if I worked in Canada in the last one year and in my case, I am not eligible as i have been working in the US for last couple of years and they asked me to contact the state in the US for UI.

How many days do you get to leave the country from the COS denial date( out of status) ? If immediate/ same day, then it means to check the status online everyday because the paper mail takes few days to arrive?

Hi Nelsona, Just to prepare for the worst, how many days do I get to leave the country in case i539 COS is denied but i 94 date is not expired.
