Not sure if you got it right. My derivative on her application got denied. She and I are both primary applicants (of course applied via our respective employers). She is still active on my case and hasn't gotten an approval notice.
I haven't received the physical card as yet. I have received only the approval notice. You are probably right about adjudication in May. I'll let you know what the card says once I receive it.
Finally got an approval notice dated July 14, 2009 (Supposedly when my PD wasn't current?!)
We really need to fix this process. Is there a movement that I can join or do I have to start one?

I just got denied on my wife's application saying I already have a permanent residenct status approved on 5/26/2009 (referencing my 485 case)!!
However, my 485 case still shows pending online status. I called customer service and am not getting a clear response. Any clue as to what's going on?

Apparently, the fingerprinting was not for security background check but for an earlier computer error. I got my visa on the same day of fingerprinting when I requested the consular.
I am in New Delhi for visa renewal (I have been on H1 for 10 years now - that's a different story - you can read that in my other thread). I submitted my passport on May 18 and still haven't got it back. The consulate called today for additional fingerprinting. I fear it may be a security check...
I just got another FP notice (15 months after my previous FP) and got it done asap (much before aptmt date because I am traveling to get my H1B stamped and keep it active)
Thanks... I did get my FP done today..much before the aptmt date just to get it out of the way before my travel (simply requested them to do it earlier).
As for Singapore no-visa entry, I think I was allowed earlier without a visa because (1) I had a valid US visa (2) I had onwards ticket to...
I have decided to skip singapore altogether and go to India to get H1B stamping done (since my H1B stamped expires next week). Now, my new dilemma is that I just got my 3rd FP apointment notice (15 months expiring) for the day I am returning on - obviously will not be able to make it..how risky...
