Spouse's card received Hi All, Finally our long journey towards GC has come to an end over the weekend..with my wife getting her plastic card..it took about 1.5 weeks after receiving the welcome letter for her to get the actual card. Best of Luck for all the local transfer cases...

dtw, Yes, it was the same officer..no haven't heard anything yet...let's keep waiting ...also are you applying for any EAD renewals..I heard that it is taking about 6 months to get EAD's now-a-days.. GCMaster

A friend of mine came to USA a while back on B1\B2 visa..thru company A. Went back to his home country and came back to USA on H1B visa thru company B..recently he got laid off... The question is can he transfer his H1B visa status to B1\B2 status..while being here in US..or should he need to...
