My priority date was Jul 7, 2004 (EB2-NIW), concurrent application, and 485 was approved two days ago (VSC transferred to TSC). We had to call TSC quite a few times.

You can ask the attorney to give you a letter stating that he is withdrawing from the case. This is probably the best route. You can also fax to the USCIS (call the customer service and they should be able to guide you).
The more expensive option is to get another attorney. Given that the...
If someone has an EB3 from earlier and a new EB2 petition, they can use their EB3 priority date on the EB2 petition. Given the retrogression in EB3, that is a good option, thus increasing demand on EB2 while pushing the priority date further behind.

RFE from Sep 19... No progress yet
I have been calling like a madman -- may be that is probably hurting the process. At this time, my main hope is that the RFE was issued in error (Attorney moved and RFE did not bounce). Other hope is that they will resend it with a new date.

Friends,
I am in a weird situation. My NIW-140 was approved in June 2005 (filed July 2004), and the case was transferred to TSC. Recently (Sep 19), the TSC sent an RFE, which my lawyer did not receive (he split from the office and the office moved -- my case was lost in the middle). As soon...
It is legal to work for two employers with EAD
As long as you are using the EAD for both... For example, if you use the H1 for one and EAD for another, the H1 will be in trouble. Of course, assuming all other issues (employer restrictions, etc.) are fine.
With the EAD, you can have any form...
Sree 2005... EAD...
I applied on April 26 (e-filed late night on Apr 25). I had my fingerprints done by May 1st week. Still waiting for my EAD approval (current one expires Aug 14). I guess I can now get an interm EAD, but if I am waiting to see if I can avoid the trip.

I posted this one as part of a thread in the "August 2006 Visa Bulletin", and didn't receive any responses... So, I thought that I'd ask the question in a new thread.
I have an EB2-NIW approved in June 2005 (applied in July 2004). The I-485 has been pending from July 2004. We have the EADs...
EB2 NIW from July 2004... Worth applying for EB1-OR?
I have an EB2-NIW approved in June 2005 (applied in July 2004). The I-485 has been pending from July 2004. We have the EADs, the Advance Paroles, etc., so we feel fortunate that we didn't hit retrogression before we filed for I-485. However...
I am not a lawyer but I believe that once you apply for I-485, your F1 status extenstions (and related EADs) cannot be obtained any longer. Since your I-485 is in process and you have an EAD, is there a reason for not using that?
In the worst case of denial of your 485, you may still have an...
