I will be going to India this weekend. I already have a valid H1 stamp from my trip last year... so this question is not about H1 stamping. I read in newspapers a few months ago that Indians visiting India might need IT clearance certificate... Is this true? I'll be in India for 20 days only...

surprising i am quite surprised to read this stuff. when i went to mumbai for stamping last year (in may end), the process was a breeze. drop box and passport was delivered home in 2 days. i don't know what was the rejection/acceptance ratio because i simply had to drop in my app and leave...
