No the expiration is the issue date with 3 years validity. They should have given 5 years with expiration date as of my birthdate. I think there probably don't understand what a PR is or it could be there negligence.

I have recently renewed in GA and got for only 3 years. I am not sure how they came up with 3 years and also the expiration date is not my birthday which it used to before.

We went to one of DMV centers yesterday to renew my Wife's drivers license. They issued for only 1 year. Customer service represent told that even for GC Holders they issue for only 1 year,maybe they might change the rule in future. This is so weird she had her license last time for 4 years...

All i am saying is why do Green card holders have restriction on Drivers license for 1 Year as the purpose of GC is to stay permanantly in US. I am not sure if DMV offices have right instructions to do this or they are completly unaware of rules and regulations.

I submitted the New I-9 Form the next day after i got card. EAD is not valid anymore.Keep it for records. Also i went to SSN Office after 3 weeks of card recieved and they took out restriction "valid for INS Authorization".

Was your I-94 Expired or still valid while leaving the country, if so did they ask you any quetions while coming back
